Career training
At Charis, we understand the importance of training in delivering high-quality care. That’s why we offer a comprehensive training program for all our staff:
Induction and Core Training:All new staff undergo a thorough induction followed by a core training program designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their roles. This includes initial training in our relationship-based and therapeutic practice approaches.
Residential Child Care Qualification: Staff complete mandatory Residential Child Care Diplomas and for aspiring managers a Leadership and Management Diploma is available.
Advanced Training:In relationship-based practice approaches. After completing the core qualifications, staff progress to advanced Level 4 Trauma Informed Practice training. This training is NCFE accredited, and upon completion, staff become Trauma Informed Practitioners within our organisation. A more advanced social pedagogy training is also available to selected staff.
Our training pathways ensure that our staff not only meet but exceed the standards required to provide excellent care, supporting their growth and professional development throughout their careers.
